This original 3D Intarsia Mural was designed and created by Kathy Wise. It has over 34 different types of wood including Ash & White Oak for the leaves. Wenge & Black Walnut for the background. Zebrawood for the branch. Bloodwood, Sycamore, Wenge, Ebony, Poplar & Bird's Eye Maple for the gray parrot. Snakewood for the Python. The Leopard was cut from Black Walnut with Wenge claws. Holly, Ebony, Pink Ivory, Satinwood and Wenge are used on the head. Other woods used in the mural are Teak, Spalted Maple, Sapele, Lacewood, Tigerwood and Cherry. There are many Congo animals hidden in the jungle foliage. See if you can find the Python, Red Lechwe, Gorillas, Forest Buffalo, Bushbuck, 3 Hippos, Guinea Hen, 2 Crocodile, 2 Bongo, Okapi, Red Forest Hog, Colobus Monkey, African Crowned Crane, Chameleon, Forest Elephants, 3 Frogs, Butterfly, Black Leopard Cub and Snail.
